“The lips of wisdom are closed, except to the ears of understanding.” – The Kybalion
Another winner from @dymocks_sydney The Kybalion: A Study of The Hermetic Philosophy of Ancient Egypt and Greece. This book is based around ‘The 7 Hermetic Principles’ which goes on to say ‘All fundamental and basic teachings embedded in the esoteric teachings of every race may be traced back to Hermes Trismegistus.
Even the most ancient teachings of India undoubtedly have their roots in the original Hermetic Teachings.’ The ideas and principles this book speak about come from a perspective in where the body and mind are at the same ‘vibration’ as the universe and looking at it from this vibration that only you can understand the true nature of the universe referring to it as a Master Key to which you can open the many doors of the mental and psychic temple. To those without this Master Key are only left to knock in vain at the many doors of The Temple.
It leaves you with such a powerful impression about the idea of living life in High Vibration as we have all experienced it in our lives one way or another. Let’s say if you don’t resonate with the teachings and lessons from the many religions like Christianity, Judaism, or Islam (which are all very closely related to the Hermetic Teachings) is because you are not in the high vibration state that would allow for you to “Transmute” such ideas and thoughts into reality, and instead you are in the Low Vibration state where you live life simply reacting to events, stuck in working for someone else’s dream, fulfilling desires that benefit short-term and basically YOLOing.
When you become aware of the high vibration state then you will know that throughout your life you will vibrate between highs and lows, and being able to manage and “play the part” will allow you to experience what thousands of generations of Human existence has already experienced, and that the human body has already made systems that allow us to take in these experiences (fear, excitement, pain, joy, happiness etc.) and however we want to react will depend on you.
This is the real Full Metal Alchemist.

Repost from @thinkgrowprosper via @idillionaire. Read her insights below & follow for more unique perspectives: * “Relationships are an exploration of each other’s souls. However, to truly connect on that level, you have to explore your own self first. * Most people haven’t been taught how to do that, so they settle on feeling empty and trying to fulfill themselves with people who are incapable of loving. The first step is self-awareness. * Self-awareness means going beyond the surface and discovering yourself. Discovering your soul, your depth, your purpose, and your existence here on earth and what all that means. * We have made this more complicated than it needs to be because of the fears, the attachments, and the pain we carry. But when you realize who you really are, you are released from that burden. You don’t have to struggle, you just have to understand. This is what our generation is missing. * The key is to love ourselves so that we can better love others, understand ourselves so that we can better communicate with others, and trust in our own spirit so that we can give loyalty to others. * Once you have done the work, you’ll be at a vibration that only attracts the soul of those who are ready to grow and take this journey with you. Don’t settle, don’t give up, and don’t lose hope in what’s to come.”✨ —@idillionaire

Guns Germs & Steel by Jared Diamond, winner of the Pulitzer Prize and the Rhone-Poulenc Science Book Prize.
Opens with a powerful question by a remarkable local politician of New Guinea named Yali that went: “Why is that you white people developed so much cargo and brought it to New Guinea, but we black people had little cargo of our own?” What a powerful question! The implications that can come with it is the tip of an iceberg! Let’s take The Edge Effect for example. It refers to the changes in population or community structures that occur at the boundary of two habitats, like the edge of a forest, or near a river. The massive implication in New Guinea was to conquer, dominate, and to do that you need a lot of cargo to create a big change, in comparison to the locals who do not need much to live simply. So what we get is a big energy shift to to create a ‘modern structure’ that has once helped society in that period.
We don’t see this in our everyday lives now, because it’s an invisible war we are fighting right now! We are in direct competition of each other and in order to survive and not get eaten by predators we become docile and ‘do like the Romans’ in order to survive overcrowded populations. So what’s happening now? Sending canned bullshit full of aluminium, additives, preservatives and death, the kinds of food we only eat when we are desperate, and force it down others to ‘stop’ this so called “World Hunger” and make ppl wear shitty clothes we wouldn’t ever dare to wear when going out.
Invisible wars with our minds to dominate and conquer people with these mindsets, the territories of their minds are a commodity now. This will in turn affect the local merchants which will then drive these ppl out in order to preserve their way of living Haha and I’m only upto page 20 of this amazing book!

Whitney Houston wasn’t lying, and many people are being told the wrong message! It’s actually okay to love yourself, and don’t let your illusion of society get in the way from doing so. And most importantly don’t let the biggest obstacle get in the way: yourself!
I actually grew up trying to love myself. It was a constant struggle between loving myself or loving others and helping them out. People and books would tell you loving yourself is a selfish act and is unacceptable by society. So naturally I would listen to this and of course it worked against me and worked against everything I believed, as I would always question myself if what I was doing was right or wrong. On a deeper level this created a sort of dissonance and incongruency with my character.
I would tell people I am like this, or like that, and I should treat people like this, and judge people like that. It’s not until you’re older that you realize that by you telling people you are this kind of ideal person that is accepted by society, pretending to be nice and passive people, is actually manipulative! In fact, I only realized that after reading ‘Attraction Isn’t a Choice’ by David DeAngelo where he actually states this very fact. You’re telling people you are actually this kind of person you are not, tricking them into thinking you’re this special kind of person with certain ‘likeable’ qualities. It was liberating, a burden off the shoulder when you make such discoveries! It was like I found ‘me’ again and all the love just poured out of me. And you just know it because after that epiphany moment you just see all the kinds of love out people, and even objects! You feel that deep identity level change, and for me I felt more congruent with who I really am.
When you read a book a second time, sometimes it makes even more sense than before. And in this case music is no exception! Whitney Houston’s Greatest Love of All hits home and word for word everything just makes sense. Why is loving yourself the greatest selfless act? Of course so you can love others! There’s no greater gift than the gift of love, a very cheap Christmas present idea! People who are successful at this level have a different feeling about them, you can feel it vibe off them like as if it’s the real deal! You can just tell they’re different and its almost infectious that you too also feel inspired by that self love! You can tell that these kind of people are genuine of character, you can just feel that they’re congruent with their intent and actions and there’s no funny or hidden business about them.
If you think arrogance is a kind of self love, then you’re on the wrong track. Self love is selfless and does not lie. Its not even a category or part of any personality. It comes from within and just pours out or radiates all these positive good emotions, the ones that most people don’t want you to feel because they have no reason why they don’t want you to! No matter what they take from you they can’t take away you’re dignity! Let go of all those ideas of being a manipulative creepy guy and generate those positive feelings and start really living your life!
