Gary Vaynerchuk Inspiration

“How we cultivate our relationships is often the greatest determinant of the type of life we get to live.” Value is like love! It doesn’t mean anybody should die if you don’t bring it, but we’re good as dead if you can’t. The nature of expansion and the development of how countries develop is the same for how businesses develops and is the same of how relationships develop.

Everything goes through a life cycle! GM went through something like the Tower of Babylon, and no one could have predicted how long they could’ve gone on for but the moment they began serving themselves with decades of mismanagement instead of offering real honest human value to customers was the beginning. You can’t just mass produce products to customers that don’t exist, well you can but you will be just burning through money! When you buy a car you don’t buy a fucking car, you buy time. Uber sells time specifically to those who want it, and now Taxis are in danger because technology exploited a new loophole to deliver value to people faster and more specifically.

I love cars, I love taxis, I love Uber, but the one who gets my attention first, the one who speaks to my needs as a human and delivers the value the best way possible first will always win! Nothing is new here, just more adjustments to deliver better value. Life and business are the same shit and should have the same values and there’s no such thing as work-life balance. Whoever gave you that idea came from an expired era where it was the ideal strategy for survival. Your shit is broken! You can’t just keep living life with your thinking outdated and broke. Remember those days your elders told you to be a good person?

Now is a good time to be practising it, serve the people around you to the best of your ability. Inspired by @garyvee inspiring messages! Lack of Optimism

To be great you need to fight and hustle, outwork others, be more hungrier than others. In a 24hr period how much time did you work on being good at your strengths? How much time did you spend to get better and improve on doing what you do best? How much time did you spend saying to yourself “You can do it! Fucking crush it!”? When will you put your strengths on the line, not give a fuck about what your suck at, and put yourself and your strengths in a position to win?

Again after a string of events I’ve been given the honour to once again accept where I am, let go of the story I was telling myself of who I was, and to rise from the ashes and become present with life and everyone in it and fucking crush it! Creation, destruction, and rebirth. Greatness comes from adversity. Look it in the eyes and kill it pump it smash it BOOM! This post was inspired be @garyvee! A real good kick in the ass to remind me to stay optimistic! If I become good at storytelling then I better not say anything bad to myself! Thank you so much for the value! 👌👌👌

You have to put the work in!

There’s some people that like to change their circumstances, but can’t even make that change within themselves.

If your dreams seem faraway then you didn’t walk the distance yet.

Put the work in, stay humble, be amazing and make yourself a better version

Greatest speech ever on leadership during WWI

One of the greatest speech on leadership by a man named Major C A Bach during WWI recited by one of my current inspirations in learning about leadership Patrick Bet David. Here’s an excerpt that hit’s home: “Soldiers are much like children. You must see that they have shelter, food, and clothing, the best that your utmost efforts can provide. You must be far more solicitous of their comfort than of your own. You must see that they have food to eat before you think of your own; that they have each as good a bed as can be provided before you consider where you will sleep. You must look after their health. You must conserve their strength by not demanding needless exertion or useless labor. And by doing all these things you are breathing life into what would be otherwise a mere machine. You are creating a soul in your organization that will make the mass respond to you as though it were one man. And that is esprit. And when your organization has this esprit you will wake up some morning and discover that the tables have been turned; that instead of your constantly looking out for them they have, without even a hint from you, taken up the task of looking out for you. You will find that a detail is always there to see that your tent, if you have one, is promptly pitched; that the most and the cleanest bedding is brought to your tent; that from some mysterious source two eggs have been added to your supper when no one else has any; that an extra man is helping your men give your horse a supergrooming; that your wishes are anticipated; that every man is Johnny-on-the-spot. And then you have arrived.” On leadership, one thing I know for sure is that the army brings out that leadership quality out of people using the oldest way that has been passed on thousands of generations that has had the highest success in terms of the evolutionary survival strategy. You see it in all aspects of different cultures, however slowly losing that edge in some culture as they focus more on grades and equality, and the result? You get a new generation of people who grow up with a false sense of entitlement and a weak strategy to walk through the world like a self-gratificating, validation and reaction seeking zombies, with fucked up habits in avoiding pain and seeking pleasure. It’s the genuine qualities we find in people that makes other people tap-dance to work, that helps the other person pick up their dropped papers, and most importantly pass on this knowledge to the next generation!

Mid Year Thoughts on Work

“The reThe reward of our work is not what we get, but what we become. - Paulo Coelho. _This marks the 2 years and 6 months I've been at my current job at Ippudo which roughly translates to 5000 hours.__They say iward of our work is not what we get, but what we become.” – Paulo Coelho.

This marks the 2 years and 6 months I’ve been at my current job at Ippudo which roughly translates to 5000 hours.

They say it takes 10,000 hours to master something and I’ve realised that when something changes continously it isn’t the job you’re mastering, but it’s the very principles of life you are mastering.

This job has taught me to live! Here are some of things I’ve learned in this job that have made me who I am now:

1. Stay positive! It’s important to stay in the positive side of life but it’s also important to use the negatives and learn from them to turn into positives. If you have something negative to say you better have a positive solution for it. You don’t wanna be remembered as that annoying person that complained about nothing. If you’re in a room and you don’t know who the sucker is, YOU are the sucker.

2. Read! Become an expert. I’ve never been to business school and never learned a thing about business. But what I do know is that everything you need to know is laid out in front of you, and when you’re ready to unclench your fist then you can open your hand and grab a bloody book. You can learn from mistakes and it doesn’t have to be your own mistakes. Your brain is the greatest investment and the more you learn the more you earn!

3. Be of service! Connect people and do things for them. In any walks of life you will be of service to someone whether they be above you, on your level, or below your level. “Seek first to understand before being understood”, and I promise you that you will receive the greatest gift of life and that is to touch the soul of another human being. From there the answers become much clearer. If this isn’t a great gift to you then I am sorry but you must have shit friends wink emoticon

Everything that happens to you happens to bring you closer to that one place wink emoticon So learn to live, to love, and to learn again ‪#‎circleoflife‬ ‪#‎motivation‬‪#‎inspiration‬ ‪#‎ippudo‬ ‪#‎goodluck‬ ‪#‎elevatorselfie‬
